CHAMPIONSHIPS, TROPHIES AND SPECIAL PRIZES

A Perpetual Challenge Trophy and a prize of £40.00 will be awarded to the Overall Champion Ploughman of the day with £20.00 to the Reserve Champion. 

The Holdhurst Perpetual Challenge Trophy presented by G Bardeau Esq will be awarded to the Champion Ploughman from Classes 1 and 2, with a prize of £20.00 awarded to the Champion and £10.00 to the Reserve Champion.  Kindly sponsored by Loseley Park Farm, Guildford, Surrey  

A Perpetual Challenge Trophy presented by the late Mr J Hewitt will be awarded to the Champion Vintage Ploughman from Classes 4 and 5 with a prize of £20.00 awarded to the Champion and £10.00 to the Reserve Champion. 

The "Gaffers Mug" presented by Gordon Harvey Esq will be awarded for the best ploughing by a gaffer in classes 1 - 3 inclusive.

The Rydinghurst Silver Perpetual Tankard presented by Miss M Ackroyd, will be awarded to the Best Ploughman under 25 years of age.

The Shell Perpetual Challenge Shield will be awarded to the Best Novice Ploughman

A special prize of £10.00 will be awarded for the best ploughing in the field by a person under 25 years of age on the date of the Match.

Oakes Bros Ltd will arrange for a New Holland Ploughing Award for the Tractor Driver judged to have done the best ploughing with a Ford or New Holland tractor.
