Local retirement community Elmbridge Village is delighted to sponsor the 71st Cranleigh Show, the region’s leading countryside event which attracts over 10,000 people every year. The Show takes place on Sunday 2nd July 2017 at the 70 acre showground on the outskirts of Cranleigh.
The show is organised by the Cranleigh & South Eastern Agricultural Society, and there is a packed programme of events and activities for all ages, including numerous livestock competitions, a large rural craft section and displays of farm machinery from vintage to state of the art, as well as plenty of chances to try a hand at country sports. There will be a wide selection of trade stands to browse, as well as a tempting array of food and drink from artisan stalls.
Staff and residents at Elmbridge Village are delighted to support the Show, one of the country's oldest agricultural events.
“The Cranleigh Show is a fantastic family day out and one of the highlights of the social calendar at our retirement village,” said Elmbridge Village Manager Keith Henesey. “The fact that it has been running so long is a testament to the hard work put in by the Cranleigh & South Eastern Agricultural Society’s team and I am delighted we are able to sponsor the event.”
John James, Show President, added: “we are thrilled to have Elmbridge Village as our headline sponsor. The community there is such an integral and lively part of Cranleigh life and is a perfect match for the Show."
Tickets are available for advance purchase at www.cranleighshow.co.uk and are £11 for adults and £7 for seniors. On the day, prices are £14 for adults and £10 for seniors. All tickets for children aged 5-16 are £1, and under-fives go free.
